The Story

At Totumlink, we are not just a software company; we are pioneers of a transformative vision. Dedicated to bridging the gap between medical and mental health care, we stand at the intersection of healthcare and behavioral health.

Our journey began with the recognition of a problem and the inception of an idea. Our founder, Dr. Christy Kane, witnessed the profound impact disjointed medical records had on a young patient, Sarah. Struggling with behavioral health challenges, Sarah faced a labyrinth of disconnected information, hindering her care. It was in that moment of frustration, empathy, and determination that Totumlink was born.

There are many patients who suffer due to limited interoperability, not just Sarah. Over the last two decades, Dr. Kane has observed misdiagnoses, overutilization, underutilization, drug abuse, loss of data, incomplete medical histories, and inaccurate information all related to a lack of integrated records.

The Mission

Our mission is simple yet profound: to heal the healthcare system by seamlessly integrating medical and behavioral health records. We pour our hearts into creating a software solution that doesn’t just manage data; it orchestrates stories of hope, recovery, and holistic well-being. We believe that every individual deserves the dignity of comprehensive, connected healthcare, and every provider should have the tools to deliver it.

With unwavering commitment, we work tirelessly to empower healthcare professionals, enabling them to see not just the symptoms but the whole person, nurturing healing and understanding in equal measure.

The Vision

What if a world of collaborative mental health and medical care existed? In addition to improving treatment outcomes and provider/patient satisfaction, there would be dramatic savings.

Medical interoperability causes redundancy, disorganization, disjointed information, and inaccessibility, all of which affect the quality of care and waste financial resources (Torab-Miandoab, 2023). There is an urgent need for the integration of health information systems.

Join us in our heartfelt mission. Let's weave together the threads of technology, compassion, and expertise, ensuring that no patient falls through the cracks. Together, let’s rewrite the narrative of healthcare, stitching compassion, precision, and hope into every medical record and every behavioral health record. With Totumlink, the future of healthcare is not just connected; it’s profoundly human.
